Who We Are
Andrea and Michele have been working together in the editing business since 2018 and love helping authors just like you succeed in bringing your books to life. We have experience in many fiction genres, but focus mainly on romance, fantasy and sci-fi, and mysteries.
We often collaborate on editing projects, and are fortunate enough to have a team of expert editors so you’ve got multiple forms of assistance available to you, as well as a broad knowledge base and set of experiences to ensure your manuscript is its very best.
At Two Birds, we take pride in continually growing our skills and staying up-to-date on the latest in publishing, writing, and editing. Our team are members of the Editorial Freelancers Association, ACES: The Society for Editing, the Oklahoma Romance Writers Guild, Tulsa Writers Syndicate, and Sisters in Crime.
ProTip: We also respond well to offers of chocolate. 😉
Our Philosophy
Our first priority is to make sure you have the best editing experience possible. Whether you’re a brand-new author just getting your feet wet or have some books under your belt and this ain’t your first rodeo, we want to make sure you’re treated with respect and courtesy throughout the editing process.
Unless we’re mortally wounded or have been hit by a tsunami, you’ll be sure to receive a reply within 24 hours of contacting us.
We’ll hold your hand as much — or as little — as you want as we work together. How you’re treated is just as important to us as how good your book is. And that’s no typo!
